Dr. Lewis graduated with Honors from the University of Texas, Arlington and went to Medical School at the University of Texas, Southwestern, in Dallas. He did his surgical residency and training at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Lewis is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Texas Medical Association. |

Scott Russell, M.D., FACS came to Central Texas in 1994. He resides in Georgetown and is married with three children. Dr. Russell graduated with Honors from Texas Tech University and went to Medical School at the University of Texas, Southwestern, in Dallas. He did his surgical residency and training at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Russell is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Texas Medical Association, Southwestern Surgical Congress, the Williamson County Medical Society and the American Society of Breast Diseases. |

Jack Walzel, M.D., FACS began practice in Round Rock in 1989. He is married with three children. Dr. Walzel attended the University of Houston and went to medical school at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He did his surgical residency and training at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Walzel is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. Andy Hawthorne, M.D joined CTSA in 2007. He is married with one child. Dr. Hawthorne graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas and attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He recently completed his surgical training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Hawthorne is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Member of SAGES, AMA, TMA and the Travis County Medical Society. His interest include advanced laparosopy and bariatrics. |

Brady Anderson, M.D., recently joined CTSA in 2008. He is married with two children. Dr. Anderson graduated from Baylor University and attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences. He completed his surgical training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of AMA, TMA, and Williamson County Medical Society. |
